Baptist Health South Florida, a premier health system in Dade County and a Fortune 100 company is seeking to fill the position for a Java developer (this is a full time position). This position offers a great opportunity for the right candidate (e.g., stable employer, state of the art Information Technology infrastructure etc.). The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience with web application development using Java (e.g., Java language, JSP, Servlets etc.). Also experience with Java open source frameworks such as Struts, Springs and Hibernate is desired. The candidate should be familiar with the J2EE model. Other desired attributes are the following:

• Degree in Computer Science/MIS/Business or similar
• Working knowledge of Web based protocols/technologies (e.g., HTTP, HTML, XML, CSS)
• RDBMS (MS SQL Server or Oracle) development experience
• Development experience with application servers (e.g., Web Logic)
• Project management experience
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to take direction from senior staff
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
