The Second ACM International
Workshop on Multimedia Databases (ACM-MMDB 2004) will take
place in Hyatt Arlington Hotel, Arlington, VA, USA on November
13, 2004. The target audiences will be university researchers,
scientists, industry professionals, software engineers and
graduate students who need to become acquainted with new
theories and technologies in multimedia databases, and to all
those who wish to gain a detailed technical understanding of
what multimedia databases involve. The workshop will provide a
forum for original research contributions and practical system
design, implementation, and applications of multimedia
databases. ACM MMDB 2004 will be held in conjunction with
The 13th International
Conference on Information and Knowledge Management
(ACM CIKM 2004).
