This page will provide you with information on accessing the SCS domain as well as mapping a drive.
3.1 Setting Up FIU-SCS Domain access
3.1.1 Access Control
Make sure you are in Control Panel -> Network
Click on the Access Control tab of the Network screen
Click on User-level access control so that it is selected
When the Select Network Servicescreen appears, click on File and Print Sharing for Microsoft Networks so that it is selected.
Click in the Obtain list of users and groups from: area, and enter FIU-SCS.
Click the Ok button to return to the previous screen.
3.1.2 Client for Microsoft Networks
Click on the Configuration tab of the Network screen
Click on Client for Microsoft Networks so that it is selected and then click the Properties
On the Client for Microsoft Network Properties window, check the box Log on to Windows NT Domain so that it is selected
For Windows NT Domain, enter FIU-SCS
Make sure that Logon and Restore Network Connections is selected
Click Ok
On the drop down list box, Primary Network Login, make sure that it is set to Client for Microsoft Networks
3.2 Lmhosts, Reboot, Map Drive
Click here to dowload the Lmhosts file and place it in c:\windows\ if you run Windows 95/98/ME or in c:\winnt\system32\drivers\etc\ if you run Windows NT or 2000.
You must reboot your computer one final time after you download the lmhosts file and put it in place.

After the reboot, connect to the internet, and then right-click on My Computer and go to Map Network Drive
You should be able to map Swamp, Space, Cougar, and Unix depending on where you have a home directory
You must enter the Pathof the drive to map in this format: \\COMPUTER\USERNAME, i.e. \\JUNGLE\USER
