CATE Lab TourDate: Saturday April 1st, 2006 The CATE center (Center for Advanced Technology and Education) is a research center for the Electrical and Computer Engineering department. Their research includes Computing environment capable of parallel and distributed processing, 3D graphics for simulation, EEG based research, robotics, signal processing, human - computer, and brain- computer interfaces. It is located in the Engineering building (EAS), room 2220. They showed us a video of their recent projects and a computer program making a 3D rendering of a human head based on brain and scalp information.
