SCIS-ACM Tutoring Program at Florida International University

Tutoring is offered free of charge to all students taking courses in the School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS) at FIU. Our tutors are busy people, but they have been asked to respond to your email within 24 hours on weekdays, and 48 hours on weekends. Please plan in advance. Some of the tutors may prefer to work by email or live chat. Others may be able to meet you in the JCCL lab or ACM office. Please contact individual tutors by email to schedule an appointment. Tutors are volunteers who have attained at least a B in the subject area(s). They must not receive any type of payment from you. Please do not ask them to help you write class programming projects. If you need help in a CS or IT subject that is not being offered or if you have any comments, questions, or concerns, please contact the tutoring coordinator, Kip Irvine at irvinek@cis.fiu.edu.
