Have you ever thought about how much fun it would be to learn Mobile device programming?  Would you like to create a game to run on your Android phone?

This workshop is open to students also! Room EC2830, FIU Engineering Center, 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. In this Free workshop taught by award-winning MDCPS teacher Jamie Gant, you learn to create mobile games and applications for Android devices such as cell phones and tablets using an easy-to-learn block-based language. This workshop is a great help in guiding students through the Create Task section of the College Board AP Computer Science Principles class. Participants are provided the use of Android-based digital tablets during class. Participants must bring their own lunch. This workshop is approved by Miami-Dade Public Schools for professional learning points.
