Nov 19, 2020: Info session on Bachelor’s Degree in Cybersecurity


As a continuation of last month’s National Cybersecurity Awareness Month join us to learn about our new bachelor’s in Cybersecurity.

FIU’s College of Engineering and Computing (CEC), The School of Computing and Information Sciences (SCIS), is committed to cultivating highly-skilled cybersecurity leaders through dynamic, interdisciplinary curriculum, customizable degree pathways, access to innovative research and state-of-the-art facilities. The new bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity will prepare graduates for a rewarding career in the high-demand fields of data security, systems security management and network threat analysis.

The new B.S. in Cybersecurity provides a well-rounded foundational program in cybersecurity with an emphasis on human-computer interaction, computer operating systems, applied networking and network security, and secure programming. The program will prepare students for both advanced studies in cybersecurity (MS) or entry into the industry in any of the broad fields of cybersecurity.
