ShellHacks is Florida International University’s upcoming student hackathon, taking place from September 14th to the 16th. For 36-hours, 600 students from all around the nation will come together to learn about the newest technologies, build innovative projects, and share them with the community. The theme of the hackathon is diversity, bringing students of all academic and cultural backgrounds together to celebrate technology and form solutions to the challenges in our world today.
ShellHacks is organized by Upsilon Pi Epsilon, the largest student organization for technology at FIU. The hackathon is affiliated with Major League Hacking (MLH), the official student hackathon league in the United States, and is supported locally by Florida International University’s College of Engineering & Computing.
