Nagarajan Prabakar an associate professor in KFSCIS at Florida International University. He received his MEng degree in automation from the Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, and his PhD degree in computer science from the University of Queensland, Brisbane. He is a SFFP Fellow at AFRL and received the best paper award in SEDE 2022. His research interests include deep learning approaches to system security and quantum database algorithms.
What salient features of quantum computing establish quantum supremacy? How does the wave function of quantum states and the probabilistic measures of results impact the deployment of this emerging technology? In this talk, I will present a glimpse of scenarios to answer these questions and describe a quantum database search algorithm. Also, I will discuss the challenges in quantum technologies.
