FIU's School of Computing and Information Sciences especially invites students from the Indian subcontinent!

Come to Miami and join our growing student body and start your graduate career in Computer Science.

We offer a Master of Science degree (M.S.) , and a Doctorate degree (Ph.D.) in Computer Science.

You can either apply for the MS program, or the PhD program.

The PhD program requires a 4 year Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field) and a GRE score of 1120. A Master's degree is not required: you will get your Master's degree after you have completed 30 credit hours towards the Ph.D. degree. Only PhD program candidates are considered for financial assistantship.

The MS program requires a 4 year Bachelors degree in Computer Science (or related field) and a GRE score of 1000.

If you don't have a 4 year BS degree, but a 3 year BS degree, you may still apply and can be accepted provisionally. You will have to earn 30 credits of undergraduate coursework in your first year.
