SCIS Tutoring Programs
Tutors are students who have attained at least a B in the subject areas they teach. Tutors have the option of tutoring in person, by phone, IM, or email. Please contact individual tutors by email to schedule an appointment. If the tutor's name has a hyperlink under it, click the name to see the tutor's availability calendar. Because of high demand it is possible that a tutoring session may only be available several days after your initial request, so please plan in advance. This service is offered as a way to help fellow students succeed, so please do not offer money, material rewards or any type of favors to tutors. Learning and understanding the subject matter is what is important. Please do not ask tutors to help you complete your programming assignments. After each tutoring session, you will be asked to fill out a confidential evaluation form. Your feedback will help us to select the best tutors and improve the quality of our services. If you have questions or concerns, please contact one of our tutoring coordinators:
