The following pictures show aspects of the implementation of an innovative CS STEAM curriculum for elementary and middle school students, and developed @FIUSCIS.
Students tell a story, code the story using Robot-C language, and run a robot they have built and wired to confirm the soundness of the code. Students use coordinate geometry to compare the triangular meshes representing the facial features of two pictures, and conclude whether or not the pictures are of the same person. Students use pixelation to represent an image, and encrypt the pixelation using a function with a binary output. Students learn Unity in the I-CAVE. Students learn Tiltbrush in the I-CAVE.
